cut (Styropor, Gips, Schellackpolitur, 280 x 50 x 600 cm)
cut heißt die raumfüllende Arbeit, die eigens für die  Galerie oqbo an der Brunnenstraße in Berlin gebaut wurde. Der Titel bezieht sich vordergründig auf den Vorgang des Herausschneidens, einem grundlegend bildhauerischen Prinzip. Ein Cut ist jedoch auch präzise der Moment vor der Pause. Danach kann man wieder ganz neu beginnen. Diesem kurzen Moment vor der Pause gibt die Arbeit cut einen Raum.

cut is the name of the large-format work that was built especially for the exhibition space of the oqbo gallery on Brunnenstraße. The title refers to the process of cutting out, a fundamental sculptural principle. But a cut is also precisely the moment before the break. Afterwards, you can start all over again. The work cut at oqbo gives space to this brief moment before the break.
